Dear Windows Live Events Customer,
In September 2009, we began retiring the Windows Live Events service and customers are no longer able to create new events using the service.

This is a reminder that your existing Events and event photos, videos and other files will be unavailable after April 2010. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you need to save photos, videos or other important information from your Events, we recommend taking the following steps:
1. Visit your existing Events and look for photos and files that you want to keep
2. Using the More menu, select Download and save these files to your computer
There are additional resources available on the Windows Live team blog to help you save photos, videos or other important information from your Events.

Rather than a separate service for Events, we’re making it easier to share events with friends, and manage appointments, to-do lists, and reminders all from one place: Windows Live Calendar.
See how to start using Calendar.

Thank you for using Windows Live,
The Windows Live Team
