My Tree Top Adventure Subic weekend getaway with Pinoy Bloggers

My Tree Top Adventure Subic weekend getaway

It’s official! Summer 2017 is started. Summer? Huh? What? What are the things in your mind every time you heard the word summer?  Hottie sun, sexy beach, swimming, outing and company team building. Or maybe a family out of town trip. Did you know that there are lots of places that you can go to for this kind of event? One of the great venues for the family outing or company trip is Tree Top Adventure (TTA) National Park.

They have lots of facilities and activities for team building that can truly enjoyable. The only motorized “team building” facilities in the country. Sound great, yeah. Tree Top Adventure Theme Park Subic is located at Jest Area, Upper Mau, Cubi Point, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Are the motorized facilities of TTA is safe? My answer to that is yes. Because TTA management ensures the safety of all guests visited in their park, especially those who will ride the motorized facilities (ziplines) like superman ride, silver surfer canopy ride and so on. So, please allow me to share my experience in Tree Top Adventure Subic last weekend, February 25, 2017. Tree Top Adventure invited bloggers to try their motorized facilities and to feel the thrill and extreme experience. The event was organized by TAG Media headed by Ms. Grace Nicolas.

With Pinoy bloggers Team, Allan Gokongwei, Clint “Glide” Mamuri, Roh Ramos-Tadina, Maricel Mauricio, Eunice Ann ” The Kikay Traveler” De Guzman and Rowena Rose Conde together we conquered our acrophobia or fear of heights.

First, we need to know the Do’s and Don’ts of the premises. As I said earlier, the safety is always first. The TTA management makes sure that all guest are well informed about the premises and facilities. Our team was brief by RN Jefferson at the registration area. All motorized facilities are safe to ride however, people with heart issues are not allowed to ride on motorized ziplines. We were schedule 4 activities, the superman ride, Silver surfer, canopy ride, and trekking.

Our first ride, the Superman ride, so we put the harness and the nutshell helmet. My heart beat quite faster, feeling like slight nervous, I have a bit fear of heights and that is 80 feet above the ground plus the movement of forward and backward with speed (I think 5k/hr or 10 k/hr was the speed), then you hang for a more than a minute. My riding position was prone, facing the ground, then my feet and arms were on the braces of this ride, but don’t worry, this ride is safe. Our harness is locked and tight. Oh no… hope I can do this but this is it! To remove the fear, I shouted out while the ride is moving and release my fear… Wow! Yes, I can! I finished superman ride until the last second. I’m got a quick dizzy but the superman ride experience was awesome, I will repeat this for sure.

Second stop, the silver surfer, still we have a harness and helmet for safety. After I fought my fear of heights from superman ride, I confidently to ride the silver surfer. Standing on the platform of the silver surfer. Our harness is lock-in on the braces of the ride.  The aim of this ride is just like you are surfing on the beach while it’s moving, I tried to do that surfing style. My body was half seated position and without holding the brace, Wow this is great! Just shout to release the fear of heights.  Silver Surfer is a fun ride.

After the superb rides, we tried the canopy ride. This is my third ride for the day. But first, we walked 500 meters on a steal hanging bridge or the skywalk.

Canopy ride has 5 stations. Travel through trees with 100 feet above the ground using a motorized cable ride.   This is a relaxing Tree Top Adventure ride. An overlooking of Bataan and Olongapo, bird spotting, nature observation and more.  Since this a 5 station ride, we took it around 30 minutes and a time to chat about whatever topic you may want to chat.

So our 4 activities are completed. Superman ride, Silver surfer, trek on hanging bridge and the canopy ride. But Tree Top Adventure are not limited to 4 activities, in fact, they have more than 10 activities that you can try on. (Including the team building facilities.)
